Community Grants

The SCI-West mission is to “Improve whole communities by making them healthier, more competitive, and better connected with the economic mainstream.” The purpose of the SCI-West Community Grant Award is to support the efforts of grassroots community-based groups within the target area to implement small projects that support the mission of SCI-West.

The SCI-West Community Grant Awards are funded by the Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC) and offered in collaboration between the four SCI-West project partners that include: the Enterprise Center CDC, the Partnership CDC, the University City District, and the People’s Emergency Center CDC.    

 A TOTAL OF $60K is on its way!!!!!!

One Time grant awards will be made for $3,000 per project. Five grants will be awarded to organizations from each of the four partner CDC’s. A selection committee comprised of stakeholders/volunteers from each CDC will evaluate the proposals and select grant recipients.
